M.E.N.T.O.R. Campaign: Mobilizing Communities for Mental Health, Healing & Prevention
The M.E.N.T.O.R. Campaign (Mobilizing Empathy, Nurturing Togetherness, Organizing for Restoration) is a community-led coalition grounded in the belief that mental health education and support must begin early and be fully supported in public schools. This campaign brings together faith institutions, community organizations, educators, families, and funders to expand and strengthen existing school-based mental health services.

Benefits
What Makes M.E.N.T.O.R. Different
MENTOR is not a standalone program; it is a systems-level solution developed to work with, not around, existing school district services. The campaign focuses on awareness, storytelling, coalition-building, and leveraging research to influence foundation investment in current wraparound services, not to provide those services directly.
School-Aligned Supports
Works in partnership with districts like HISD, Fort Bend, Spring, and Dallas ISD to strengthen—not replace—existing services.
Nonpartisan, Prevention-Focused Advocacy
Grounded in community health and measurable outcomes, not direct service provision.
Coalition for Change
Brings together organizations to conduct research and share stories, driving data-informed investment in public school supports.
